國際金融市場日益緊密相互聯繫，國家之間的貿易和金融流動將持續增加，這意味著金融機構和投資者需要更好地理解全球市場和風險，並採取適當的措施以應對不斷變化的國際環境。
因此，本次講座非常榮幸地邀請到王孟源博士到校進行「國際金融未來趨勢」主題分享。王孟源博士可大有來頭，其學術背景不僅有跨領域背景，並且相當卓越，他畢業於清華大學物理系，並繼續在哈佛大學攻讀物理碩士及博士學位。畢業後沒有往物理界發展，反而在因緣際會下轉往金融界擔任研究員，並且善用自己的所學與經歷，2001年發明世界第一個全自動交易程式，具有劃時代的意義。
由於王博士在金融領域的長期深耕，因此對於國際情勢如何影響金融和經濟擁有相當豐富的見識。
正如王孟源博士在講座中所提到的「經濟發展的方向是由資源配置來決定，而金融為資源配置的管道，要預測未來社會、環境、政治、文化發展，要先預測經濟走向；而要預測經濟走向，則需先預測國際金融態勢。」這段話成為了今日講座的重點。
在這次講座中，講者分享了許多內容，包括美國自1960年至2022年期間通膨變化的原因、美元儲備比率的變化、國際儲備貨幣在1995年至2022年期間的變化、美元霸權的崛起原因與發展，以及對於未來展望等。這些內容透過講者的介紹，有助於讓參與者更深入瞭解從過去到現在的國際金融情勢變化。儘管有許多變數是我們無法預先掌控的，但我們仍須對國際金融趨勢有正確的了解。
